Who iLocksmith24 is
A one-van mobile automotive locksmith working Milwaukee and about thirty miles around it. No storefront, no call center, no dispatch fee that appears at the end. The person who answers the phone is the person who shows up at the car.
Everything a customer
should be able to check
The details below are the same everywhere they appear — on this site, on invoices and on any listing.
Wisconsin does not issue a state locksmith license, so no operator in this state can show you one. Anybody claiming a Wisconsin locksmith license is describing something that does not exist — ask for insurance and a business entity instead, which are real and checkable.
Why we ask
for your paperwork
Photo ID and a document tying you to the vehicle are required before any key is cut or programmed. Title, registration, or an insurance card showing the plate.
Thirty seconds at the car
It is the shortest part of the visit. A photo of the registration on your phone counts, which matters when the document itself is inside the locked car.
- Photo ID plus one vehicle document
- Company vehicles: the assignment letter or fleet paperwork
- Rentals: the rental agreement
The reason it exists
The same rule that costs you thirty seconds is what stops anyone from ordering a key to your car. A locksmith who skips it is not being helpful; he is being useful to whoever asks next.
- No key is made without it, at any hour
- No exceptions for urgency
- The refusal is the service working correctly
What the number
is made of
Every price on this site is a starting figure for the straightforward version of the job, and the estimate comes before anyone drives out.
The work
Lockout $69, spare key $49, transponder key with all keys lost $119, smart key $189, European $299, broken key extraction $99, ignition repair $199. Published, not invented on arrival.
The service call
$29-$99, depending on the day, the hour and the distance. Quoted alongside the work, in the same message, before you agree to anything.
What can move it
The vehicle, the key type, the security platform and the condition of the lock. If any of those change the figure, you hear it before the work starts, not after.
What never happens
No arrival fee revealed at the car, no price that doubles because it is 2 a.m., no work started before you have agreed to a number. See terms of service.
What the van
is built for
Automotive only, on purpose. One trade done properly beats four done approximately, and it is the reason the van carries the equipment for a 2025 push-to-start and a 1998 transponder at the same time.
The rest
of the site
Prices shown are starting figures for the straightforward version of each job. A service call of $29-$99 applies, depending on the day, the time and the distance. The service call is quoted alongside the work, and the figure is settled once the key and the vehicle have been checked. See terms of service.
